| Hi Legacy Family! Story Time! On Christmas morning, as I watched the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade on ABC, a familiar face caught my eye—Hannah S., one of our very own Legacy alumni, dancing with joy and grace on national television!!! In that moment, a wave of pride and emotion washed over me, reaffirming the true purpose behind Legacy. Hannah joined Legacy at the tender age of 6, a bright-eyed tiny girl with a dream that sparkled as vividly as her spirit. I often as my students what their dreams are. One day Hannah said ” Aunt B, my dream is to perform at Disney World!” Over the years, I had the privilege of guiding her through her formative years, cheering her on as she pursued a degree in Dance and Musical Theatre, welcoming her back to Legacy as a performer, and later, as a choreographer. Seeing her realize her dream on such a grand stage was more than just a proud moment—it was a testament to the power of dreams nurtured with passion, dedication, and unwavering support. When I founded Legacy, my vision was centered around productions and classes. However, experiences like Hannah’s have illuminated a deeper calling. I’ve come to understand that my true “why” is to be a Dream Creator—to inspire, mentor, and support young talents as they chase and achieve their dreams. Hannah’s journey is a shining example of what’s possible when dreams are met with determination and encouragement. I’m honored to have been a part of her story and am continually inspired by the incredible journeys of all our Legacy students. |
