Robbie Kirkland

Robbie Kirkland (not Mark Smith) is a professional actor who has been performing for over 20 years. He studied vocal performance at Point University, and traveled with their A capella singing group. He was the improvisation troupe leader for Newnan Theatre Company’s N.I.T.W.I.T.S., where he also performed in numerous productions, as well as managing the box office. He has also worked as an Extra and Stand-In in several television series, and films (The Walking Dead, Drop Dead Diva, Life As We Know It, Parental Guidance and others). He was a Long-Term Sub (“not a real teacher”) for Fayette County in the subjects of Drama, and English. Robbie has enjoyed performing in several productions at the Legacy Theatre (Peter Pan, Footloose, Rocket Boys, 1776, Junie B. Jones and various others), but you see him now as Production Manager for most of the shows. He assists Mark Smith, the Artistic Director, with the productions, and manages the facilities of Legacy Theatre.
