“Avrey grew up loving musicals. “Into the Woods” and “Annie” were among her favorites. Legacy Theater created a platform for her to immerse herself in these vibrantly energetic worlds. As a person that struggled with social anxiety, all the awkwardness disappeared while playing characters on stage. She found her voice in them and ultimately, her future career. Avrey is excited to continue her passion and love for the arts as a BFA MT candidate at Nazareth University in Rochester, NY. She will be forever grateful to Mark and Bethany Smith and the rest of the Legacy Team for gifting her a vision and permission to follow her dreams.”
